EDI Inc takes electronics apart in Ontario, with more than 40 years of industry experience behind it. Companies hand us their retired IT under contract, and this counter sells the part that still works.

2. 02We inventory every unit and give it a reference.
3. 03We wipe the drives. Where a drive cannot be wiped, it is mechanically destroyed.
4. 04A technician tests it. What still works goes to the counter, and what does not gets recycled.

Wiping.

Wiping is compliant with NIST 800-88 Rev 1 and US DoD 5220.22-M.

Destruction.

Where a drive cannot be wiped, it is mechanically destroyed. Certificates of Wiping and Certificates of Destruction are issued to business clients.

Who tests it.

Machines are tested by CompTIA A+ certified technicians.

What we are audited against.

EDI holds R2 V3, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and Controlled Goods registration, and is an iSIGMA/NAID member. We are a member, not NAID AAA Certified.

99.3% of what comes through that door stays out of landfill.
