Short version: a 90-day warranty against faults, we post within Canada only, and your card details never reach us.

Warranty and returns

Bought on this website or in our Orillia store, you have 90 days from the day you bought it to bring it back if it does not work as described. That is the warranty.

It covers faults. It does not cover changing your mind, and it does not cover something you were told about before you paid: every machine is sold as tested and the condition of each one is written on its own page. In the store you can plug it in and use it before you pay.

Bought through our eBay store, that is a separate sale on eBay's terms and not covered here. Those listings give 30 days where they offer a return at all. Read the listing.

How to return something

Call (705) 327-8691 ext. 27 and tell us what it is and what is wrong with it. We will find your order. Then bring it to 35 Progress Drive, Orillia, Ontario L3V 0T7 during opening hours, or post it back to the same address. Send it with tracking, because until it reaches us it is still your parcel.

Bring everything that came with it, including the charger.

Refunds

A refund goes back to the same card you paid with. Nothing else is possible: we never hold your card details, so there is no other route back to you.

We refund once the machine is back with us and we have looked at it. Your bank then takes its own few days to show it.

Return postage is ours if the machine is faulty. It is yours if it is not.

Cancelling an order

If it has not gone yet, call (705) 327-8691 ext. 27 and say what you bought. We will cancel it and refund the lot, postage included. Orders normally leave here within two working days, so call rather than write if you want to catch one.

Once it has gone it stops being a cancellation and becomes a return, above.

Delivery

We post within Canada only. Orders normally leave Orillia within two working days and travel tracked. The postage is shown at the checkout before you pay. It depends on what you are buying and on how far it has to travel, so somewhere closer to Orillia costs less than the other side of the country.

Or collect it in Orillia for 5% less than the posted price. Everything here sells in our Orillia store and through our eBay store as well as from here, and we do not hold items, so call before you set off.

Prices

Every price on this site is in Canadian dollars, and every price is before tax.

Privacy

Your card details never reach us. Payment is taken on Stripe's own pages. We are never sent the number, and there is nothing here for anybody to steal.

What we do keep, for an order: your name, delivery address, phone number, email address, and what you bought and paid. We use it to get the parcel to you, to answer you if you call, and to honour the 90 days above.

We share it with the courier who carries your parcel, and with nobody else. We do not sell it and we do not send marketing.

Measuring the website

To see which pages help people and where they give up, this site uses Google Analytics, from Google, and Microsoft Clarity, from Microsoft. They note which pages you open, what you click or tap, how far you scroll, your rough location (the town, not the street) and the kind of device and browser you use. Clarity also makes a replay of each visit, a recording of the page as you moved around it, so we can see where the site confuses people. Both put a small file in your browser, a cookie, so a second visit counts as the same visitor. Cloudflare, the company that hosts this site, also counts how many times each page is visited and how fast it loads.

The words and details you type into a box on this site are hidden from both of them. Shop search words are removed from the page address before measurement starts and are not sent as measurement events. They never see a card number: you pay on Stripe's own pages, where neither of them runs. The page you see after paying is never recorded. All Google hears from that page is that a sale happened, what it was and what it came to.

Google and Microsoft store this on their own servers, including in the United States, where the law is not the same as Canada's and the authorities there may be able to see it. We use it only to make this website work better. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to find out who you are. Google keeps the detail for up to 14 months. Clarity keeps recordings for 30 days, and a few, kept at random or marked by us, for up to 9 months.

Neither of them runs for visitors we can tell are in Quebec, or in a browser set to send a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. You can also switch them off for this browser. Measurement is not running in this browser right now, so there is nothing to switch off.
