What we fix, and what it costs.
- Viruses and malware removed: C$90.
- Windows wiped and reinstalled, when it is too far gone to put right: C$90.
- A cracked or dead laptop screen replaced: C$90 for the work, plus the new screen.
- Not sure what is wrong? We find the fault for C$45.
Work is charged at C$90 an hour in 15-minute steps, so a quick job costs less and a long one more. If it needs a part from us, such as a screen, a drive or memory, we tell you what it costs and only add it once you say yes. All prices are before tax.
Getting your files back.
If the computer has died but the drive inside it still works, we can get your files off it. There are 3 ways to do it, depending on what you need.
- Your files copied onto a USB stick, an external drive, an SD card or a DVD. All of them, or just the ones you want, such as your documents and photos.
- A complete copy of a failing drive onto a new one, so the computer starts up exactly as it was. How much survives depends on how badly the old drive has failed.
- Files you deleted recently, brought back, as long as nothing has been saved over them since. The longer the computer is used after you delete something, the less of it is left. This works on an older hard drive, not on a solid state drive.
What we cannot do: get files back from a drive that no longer works, or from one that has been encrypted or wiped. Call and we will tell you what getting your files back will cost.

Tell us what the machine is and what it is doing. We will tell you whether it is something we can take on, and then you bring it to the store. Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
